Where to Stay in Singapore - Best Hotels & Things to Do - Area by Area
Planning a trip to Singapore? It can be a bit trying to decide which area to stay in. Though Singapore is a relatively small country with a good transit system (bus, MRT, taxi, Uber, Grab), it’s good to have an accommodation in an area based on your needs and travel plans.
I’ve been there three times so far and stayed at different hotels in different areas. The latest trip in December, I stayed at three different accommodations over the course of 9 days.
One thing to keep in mind is that Singapore is one of the most expensive cities in the world and therefore, most hotel prices are higher than those of other Asian countries.
I’ve picked some of the best hotels in the each area along with things to do/see. They are all rated 7.5 or above out of 10 on booking sites as of January 2020.
