Delicious Folded Kimbap 2 Ways - A New Take On Traditional Korean Food
Kimbap (gimbap) is a rice roll with fillings such as vegetables and cooked meats wrapped in dried sheets of seaweed. It’s one of the most loved Korean snacks. The traditional version of rice roll looks similar to Japanese sushi. The rice in Korean kimbap is seasoned with fragrant sesame oil and sea salt instead of rice vinegar. There are many ways to make this portable snack and recently, the folded version has gone viral….no surprise, it’s easy, fun to make and filling options are endless; use whatever you have at hand or experiment with new ingredients.
Here are my two favorite recipes.
